ALAN KANE/ ‘THE STRATFORD HOARD’
Art on the Underground will present a major new comission by Alan Kane at Stratford Underground Station opening on the 17 July. The Stratford Hoard comprises of a series of eclectic displays of private collections belonging to people who live in, work near to or have a particular connection to Stratford station. These will include 1000 sugar cubes belonging to Elizabeth Parker, decorative souvenir teaspoons owned by Kacey Young, and printed milk bottles collected by Tyler Harrington. Alan Kane’s series of exhibitions will continue until November 2008.
